I love hearing from people from community talk about who and what has aided them in changing the trajectory of their lives for the better. I believe sharing their words, their struggles and triumphs of circumstance, through video and writing is a pivotal avenue for igniting social change and understanding.

I want to make a positive impact in the

world through storytelling!

Journalism

I am grateful for my former experience as a Springfield Life reporter for the long-standing Missouri State University newspaper The Standard. Thanks to some phenomenal copy editors, I strengthened my interview and journalism structuring skills by writing 18 articles throughout an academic season. See the The Standard website under "Farrar" for publized articles.
